Netuitive Extends Leadership in Infrastructure Performance Analysis with Additional U.S. Patent

Core Technology Portfolio Now Includes a Web Based Service

Reston, VA – October 21, 2003 – Netuitive®, Inc., today announced it was granted an additional U.S. Patent for the company's Infrastructure Performance Analysis technology. This new patent is the sixth filed by Netuitive representing three decades of research in statistical analysis, cognitive theory and neural networking. U.S. Patent No. 6,591,255 B1 describes an automatic data extraction, error correction and forecasting system that works over the Internet.

This technology allows a large number of enterprises to obtain the benefits of a sophisticated neural-network forecasting system operating as a web based service. Individual clients will be able to subscribe to a forecasting service performed by equipment located at a remote site. This will provide immediate benefits to the subscriber without requiring that they purchase or develop a forecasting system of their own.
