Netuitive Hires Marketing VP
Reston, VA – May 12, 2004 – Netuitive® Inc., a provider of next-generation automation software for IT performance management, announced today that it has hired Daniel Heimlich as its vice president of marketing. "For the past fifteen months we've focused on building an extremely robust, user-friendly product while also establishing our first customers and partnerships," says Nicola Sanna, the company's president and CEO. "With the core engineering and proof-of-concept phases behind us, we're now poised to accelerate our market growth. Daniel brings the marketing leadership that will help take us to the next level."
Heimlich joins Netuitive from TiGi Corporation, where he was vice president of marketing for the specialty storage manufacturer since January 2003. There he led a market re-launch that reversed 12+ months of stagnant sales and help increase revenues by 200%. Previously, as one of the first hundred employees at Citrix Systems, he held various marketing leadership positions that helped drive the system software company's revenue from $40 million in 1996 to $600 million in 2002. Heimlich was chosen to lead new strategic initiatives that marked key milestones for Citrix's growth, which now generate $100+ million annually. Heimlich was also vice president of marketing at Video Production Systems, where he was instrumental in helping the company double sales to $13 million in less than three years.
"Netuitive has all of the elements to be a great success - the customer need, the technology, the partnerships and the people," says Heimlich. "It's going to be exciting."
