Netuitive Celebrates Banner Year
Global Expansion, New Product Releases and Industry Recognition Helps Fuel 140 Percent Year Over Year Growth in 2007
Reston, VA – January 22, 2008 – Netuitive, Inc., the leading provider of self-learning performance management software, today announced its continued momentum and record growth in 2007. By continuing to innovate and accomplish what no other performance management software has been able to do to date, the company has more than doubled its revenues, surpassed its 200th customer mile mark and secured multi-million dollar deals with industry leaders in the financial services, e-commerce and telecommunications industries.
"Netuitive closed a successful 2007 with 140 percent year-over-year growth. Additionally, our technology has enjoyed a 100 percent success record in competitive evaluations. This tells us that today's companies have moved beyond traditional means of monitoring, and are ready for a change in the way they approach and manage application performance. The need for automated, self-learning technologies has arrived and Netuitive is clearly the vendor of choice," said Nicola Sanna, CEO and President of Netuitive, Inc.
In addition to attracting brand-name customers, Netuitive's self-learning technology has caught the eye of industry experts, such as Gartner, as the firm named Netuitive a "Cool Vendor" in its "Cool Vendors in IT Operations Management, 2007" report. The company also received a "Best of VMworld" award for its release of Netuitive SI for VMware, and just last month finished out the year by earning a "Future 50" award from SmartCEO Magazine.
In Q1 2007 the company secured $8 Million in financing to expand its team and presence both domestically and abroad. Following closely behind its funding news, Netuitive announced its addition of U.K.-based sales and support center and the appointment of three former HP/Mercury veterans. The company also expanded its presence in Atlanta and Chicago.
Netuitive introduced three significant product releases in 2007; all of which represent a precursor to Netuitive's vision for autonomic computing:
- In October 2007 Netuitive unveiled the newest version of its self-learning performance management software for BSM, Netuitive Service Analyzer 2.0, significantly expanding the enterprise feature set with real-time service level monitoring and promoting usability across organizational silos by analyzing the environment from multiple perspectives with a Multiview BSM Dashboard.
- In September, Netuitive rose to meet stringent scalability and manageability requirements for the world's largest IT organizations with the release of Netuitive SI 4. Adding enhanced UI scalability with hierarchical visualization and "smart groups" to enable easy, intuitive management of thousands of system elements across the enterprise, Netuitive considers this release to be the most usable, intuitive platform for performance management.
- Earlier in the year, Netuitive brought to market the first self-learning management software for VMware and gained widespread recognition for its ability to tackle performance management in virtual environments. The technology - and its ability to understand the meaning and impact of relationships in a virtualized environment - was awarded a "Best of VMworld" award, edging out products from over 20 companies in the most competitive category at VMworld 2007, which included technologies from CA, AMD and IBM.
Netuitive's unique method of analyzing and predicting system performance was granted its ninth patent in 2007, further distinguishing its self-learning approach from any other performance management software in the industry.
