Netuitive Releases Latest Version of Its Real-Time Analysis Management Software
Reston, VA – – Netuitive, Inc., the leader in real-time analysis software for business service management (BSM), today announced the availability of Netuitive SI 3.2, the company's latest version of its systems management software. Featuring automated threshold administration to significantly reduce operational costs, improve service levels and eliminate 99.5% of false alerts, the latest version of Netuitive's real-time analysis software boasts a new graphical tool that visualizes complex correlations and accelerates root-cause identification; Quality of Service monitoring of degradations and violations; and new third-party integrations.
Netuitive's SI software eliminates time-consuming and error-prone manual thresholding and baselining by self-learning a company's environment operating characteristics and automatically generating Dynamic ThresholdsT that define any system's full range of normal behavior. When Netuitive SI detects or forecasts behavior outside the range, IT receives a Trusted AlarmsT - the industry's most accurate and reliable indicator of impending performance problems. Unlike other automation technologies, Netuitive SI integrates seamlessly with current monitoring infrastructures, uses existing agents and consoles, and deploys in just hours.
Netuitive SI 3.2 includes several new features that help ease deployment, improve configuration and data collection, increase administration functionality and extend reporting and analysis capabilities, enabling customer to more efficiently manage their IT systems management. Some specific enhancements to Netuitive SI 3.2 include:
- Correlation Assistant. Users can now graphically visualize the level of correlation among metrics of a model, separate highly correlated metrics from less correlated ones, and efficiently use that information for rapid root-cause and impact analysis.
- Quality of Service monitoring. Quality of Service (QoS) indicators such as response time can be included in system models. QoS degradations and violations based on dynamic QoS thresholds or user-defined static thresholds will contribute to the generation of performance and QoS Trusted Alarms.
- New integrations. Netuitive SI 3.2 supports additional integration platforms: HP OpenView, Mercury Business Availability Center, Oracle Enterprise Manager and SMTP to export Trusted Alarms via e-mail.
"IT managers are under enormous pressure to lower the escalating cost of maintaining today's highly-complex IT systems," said Nicola Sanna, CEO of Netuitive. "Netuitive SI cracks the code on automating the most difficult, time consuming and costly process in managing system performance and business services. In addition, deploying Netuitive SI does not require costly services, IT personnel can install and integrate the product in less than one hour, and meaningful results can be observed after just 24 hours."
