Netuitive Extends Technology Lead With Eighth Patent
Reston, VA – – Netuitive, Inc., the leader in real-time analysis software for business service management (BSM), today announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) has issued the company U.S. Patent No. 7,099,799 for its seasonality technology, a key component of Netuitive's real-time analysis software. The patent protects the technology's ability to account for "seasonal" patterns that are incorporated into the performance model of any service or system. With today's announcement, Netuitive has secured eight patents from the PTO, further validating the power and uniqueness of its real-time analysis software.
Netuitive software automates the deployment and administration of business service management by self-learning the performance patterns of an organization's IT systems and services using statistical algorithms. Netuitive's new "seasonal" technology enables the software to model recurring or special events such as bi-weekly payroll, end of quarter activity, holidays or even back-to-school sales when analyzing behavior patterns of IT systems. Without this technology, seasonal anomalies typically flood an organization's Network Operational Center (NOC) or Help Desk with false-positive alerts, wasting vast amounts of resources and time.
